How many players were bought in IPL 2022 mega auction and how much money was spent?

The 10 IPL franchises spent ₹551.7 crore in the two-day IPL 2022 mega auction in Bengaluru to buy a total of 204 players. As many as 11 players were bought for at least ₹10 crore each, while 13 players were bought for amount between ₹8 crore and ₹9.25 crore. In 2018 mega auction, ₹432 crore was spent on 169 players.
