How much EPF can you withdraw during an emergency?

EPFO members can take non-refundable EPF advances for emergencies including illness, unemployment, housing, education and marriage. For illness, withdrawal is capped at six months' basic wages plus DA or employee's share with interest, whichever is lower. Unemployed members can withdraw up to 75% of total balance, while certain housing withdrawals can reach 90%, subject to eligibility conditions.
