How much severance is Meta offering amid mass layoffs?

As Meta carries out layoffs, its US workers will reportedly get a severance package amounting to 16 weeks of base pay plus two weeks of pay for every year of continuous employment. The workers will also receive 18 months of healthcare coverage for themselves and their families. Employees outside the US impacted by the layoffs will receive similar country-specific packages.
