How much will big tech companies invest in AI this year?

Big tech companies ​are expected to spend over $700 billion on AI infrastructure this year. Meta raised its full-year capital expenditure outlook to up to $145 billion, driven by investment in data centres while Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said ‌firm was maintaining its target for $200 billion in AI investment. Microsoft and Alphabet expect their capex to hit $190 billion.
