Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar was accused of trying to strike a ₹50-crore deal with EC officials on behalf of then-AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran to allocate the 'two leaves' party symbol to VK Sasikala-led faction during the 2017 leadership dispute following J Jayalalithaa's death. ED later filed a money laundering case linked to the offence. A Delhi court granted bail to Chandrasekhar.
