How scammers are targeting people amid LPG supply crisis?

Amid growing concerns over LPG shortages, cyber fraud cases linked to gas bookings have been reported across India. Scammers send SMS or WhatsApp messages warning users that their connection will be disconnected if bills aren’t updated. When victims call the number, they’re sent a link and asked to enter personal and card details, after which money is quickly siphoned off.
