How to check electricity meter's accuracy at home?

The 'Zero Load' test can be used to check if the electricity meter is accurate and not running faster than it should. It involves switching off all electrical appliances- lights, fans, AC, fridge, geyser and unplugging them completely. If red LED light of the meter is still blinking rapidly, it could indicate faulty wiring, power leakage, or a defective meter.
