UPI payments can also be made without an internet connection through smartphones and feature phones by dialling *99#, following which users will be prompted with a menu displaying various options. Users can select options like Send Money, Request Money and Check Balance, among others. Money can be sent by entering the beneficiary's mobile number, UPI ID, or bank account details.
