How were 2 foreigner women, stuck at Uttarakhand peak for 60 hours, rescued?

British alpinist Fay Manners and American climate scientist Michelle Dvorak were rescued after being stranded for 60 hours at 6,300 metres while climbing Uttarakhand's Chaukhamba-III peak. A French expedition team who were in the region, diverted their route to reach them and relayed their location to Indian Air Force, which rescued them. The women lost their supply bag while climbing.
