How will Delhi-Dehradun road travel compare to train & flight after expressway launch?

The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is expected to cut travel time between the two from the current six hours to just 2.5 hours. This is faster than the 4 hours and 45 minutes taken by the Anand Vihar-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express, the fastest train on the route. It also undercuts the total door-to-door flight time, which ranges between 3.5 and 5 hours.
