How will you deal with hawking at Chandni Chowk: HC asks Delhi Police, MCD

Delhi High Court has ordered the Delhi Police chief and North Delhi Municipal Corporation to be present before it on February 28 to explain how they can deal with encroachment at Chandni Chowk. The court said the authorities take ad hoc actions that don't yield the desired result of ending encroachment permanently. Chandni Chowk is a no-hawking and no-vending zone.
