HP appoints senior Apple exec Ipsita Dasgupta as India MD

PC maker HP appointed senior Apple executive Ipsita Dasgupta as Senior Vice President and MD of India business. Dasgupta will be responsible for leading "all aspects of HP's strategy and profit and loss in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka", HP said. She has joined HP from Apple, where she worked as Senior Director, and will report to CCO David McQuarrie.
