Himachal Pradesh approves ₹6.44 cr for Lahaul-Spiti flood control

The Himachal Pradesh government has approved ₹6.44 crore for flood control works along Jahlama Nullah in Lahaul-Spiti district. The project aims to protect vulnerable areas from flooding caused by snowmelt and glacier melt in summer. Lahaul-Spiti MLA Anuradha Rana thanked CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for the approval, calling it the district's third major flood-control initiative.
