HP India fined ₹126 crore by CCI for cartelisation, bid-rigging in govt tenders
Competition Commission of India has fined HP India Sales ₹126 crore for alleged cartelisation and bid-rigging in government procurement tenders on the GeM portal. HP coordinated with certain resellers in tenders for personal systems products between 2017 and 2020, CCI said. The firm allegedly used its control over Manufacturer Authorisation Forms to influence which resellers participated in bids.
