HPV jab cuts cervical cancer death risk before 30 to almost zero: Study

Women who received HPV vaccine at ages 12-13 now have an almost zero risk of dying from cervical cancer before 30, The Lancet study found. Researchers said no women aged 20-24 died of the disease in England between 2020 and 2024. HPV vaccination has been introduced in 100 countries as part of efforts by the WHO to eliminate cervical cancer.
