HPV vaccine lowers risk of cervical and vulvar lesions: Study

A new study published in JAMA Oncology shows that the HPV vaccine not only protects against cervical cancer but also significantly reduces the risk of pre-cancerous lesions in the vulva and vagina. Girls vaccinated between ages 10-16 saw up to 57% lower risk, highlighting the importance of early HPV vaccination.
