HR boss gives ₹1 crore unauthorised pay raise to herself, jailed in Singapore

Tan Lee Nah, a 53-year-old HR employee in Singapore, has been jailed for 18 months. Tan oversaw interior design firm D'Perception Singapore's payroll system and made bogus pay claims over 2.5 years, bumping her pay by nearly S$200,000 (over ₹1 crore). Her scheme was exposed when an employee saw a copy of her salary statement on the printer.
