Indian shuttler HS Prannoy defeated compatriot Lakshya Sen in the round of 16 at Badminton World Championships 2022 to reach the quarter-finals of men's singles category. Prannoy defeated the 2021 bronze medallist with a scoreline of 17-21, 21-16, 21-17. The match lasted an hour and 15 minutes.
