HSBC CEO John Flint quits 18 months after taking up the role

British banking firm HSBC on Monday announced the departure of John Flint as the Chief Executive Officer "by mutual agreement with the board", just 18 months after he took up the role. Flint's exit was a result of differences of opinion with Chairman Mark Tucker, Reuters reported. Flint will immediately cease his day-to-day responsibilities at HSBC.
