Hubballi waste-to-charcoal plant to be fully operational by 2027

Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi said Hubballi waste-to-charcoal plant will be fully operational by 2027. "The project is expected to create more than 200 jobs and will be first such unit in South India to start operations in the state," he stated. "The initiative converts dry waste into charcoal to make the city garbage-free," Joshi added.
