Hubble telescope captures images of 2 spiral galaxies 'overlapping'
The Hubble Space Telescope has captured an image of two spiral galaxies 'overlapping' one another. The galaxies named SDSS J115331 and LEDA 2073461 are more than a billion light-years away from Earth. Though it appears from the image that both the galaxies are overlapping each other, Hubble has determined that they are merely oriented and not actually interacting.
