Huge sunspot on Sun's surface grows 10 times in size in 48 hours, pic surfaces

A huge sunspot on the Sun's surface has grown 10 times in size in the last 48 hours. The sunspot, called AR3085, is also shooting off several minor solar flares. Sunspots are areas that appear dark on the surface of the Sun. They appear dark because they are cooler than other parts of the Sun's surface, as per NASA.
