Human blood, urine could be used to build homes on Mars: Study

Scientists have proposed that human blood and urine could be key to building homes on Mars. Researchers from Kharazmi University found that the protein human serum albumin in blood acts as a "vivo binder," solidifying Martian soil into concrete called AstroCrete. Moreover, the urea in urine can further enhance its strength, making it more durable for habitat construction, researchers added.
