Human eye can respond to light 10 hours after death: Study

A study conducted by the Centre for Genomic Regulation found that the human eye can respond to flashes of light up to 10 hours after death. Researchers developed a system to mimic natural blood circulation and found that the retinas maintained their structure for up to 24 hours. Researchers added this may help develop better treatments for blinding eye diseases.
