Human-level AI could emerge in next 2-3 years: Ben Goertzel

AI researcher Ben Goertzel, known as father of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), said AI that matches human-level reasoning could emerge within the next two to three years. He warned that several knowledge-based professions could become obsolete earlier than anticipated. Goertzel added that professions like plumbers, electricians and educators may remain relevant for longer.
