Former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon warned that humanity is likely to lose control of AI and could go extinct if it stays on its current path. Testifying before New York City lawmakers, he said AI companies are "extremely reckless" and follow a "move fast, break things, fix them later" mindset. Coxon previously claimed AI could "kill us all" by decade-end.
