Humans have dumped over 7,000 kg trash on Mars, says expert

Humans have dumped a total of 7,119 kg of junk on Mars over the course of 50 years of robotic exploration of the red planet, an expert has said. Discarded hardware, inactive spacecraft and crashed spacecraft are the three main sources of trash, robotics expert Cagri Kilic said. NASA's Perseverance Rover has sent pictures of the debris several times.
