Humpback whale gets tangled in nets in Australia, video shows rescue operation

A video purportedly showing a group of rescuers freeing a 10-metre-long humpback whale entangled in shark nets in Australia's Gold Coast has surfaced. According to the Sea World Foundation team, specialised cutting equipment was used to remove the netting from the whale's head and pectoral fins in around an hour. The team added that such rescue operations are "extremely dangerous".
