Hundreds of Amazon cloud backups leaking sensitive data: Report

New research presented at a Las Vegas security conference claimed files belonging to firms and governments are being leaked from hundreds of Amazon cloud backups. A security analyst at cybersecurity firm Bishop Fox claimed that often cloud admins don't choose the correct configuration settings, leaving 'EBS snapshots' public and unencrypted. EBS snapshots store data for cloud applications.
