Hung Assembly in Meghalaya as no party secures majority

Elections in Meghalaya have concluded with a hung Assembly as no party has managed to win the required seats to get a clear majority in the 59-seat Assembly. CM Conrad Sangma's National People's Party has won 26 seats while the United Democratic Party has won 11 seats. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress and BJP have won five and two seats respectively.
