Hurriyat leaders incited mob at 1996 funeral of terrorist: NIA

National Investigation Agency (NIA) charged six Hurriyat leaders on Friday, including three who passed away, for instigating a mob during the funeral of a terrorist in 1996. NIA said the mob violence was a planned conspiracy by Hurriyat leaders to use the funeral for gathering public support and inciting violence. All six were charged under the Ranbir Penal Code, 1989.
