Husband, accused in Kerala dowry death case, loses govt job

The husband of Kerala's 24-year-old Vismaya Nair, who died by alleged suicide over dowry harassment in June, was removed from service as an assistant motor vehicle inspector by state government on Friday. "His anti-women, anti-social activities have tarnished the reputation of the state government," a minister said about the accused Kiran Kumar, adding that decision was taken after hearing him.
