Husband gets 10 years in jail in Kerala student's dowry death case

A Kollam court has sentenced S Kiran Kumar, the husband of Ayurveda medical student Vismaya V Nair who died by suicide in her marital home last year, to 10 years in jail. The court on Monday found him guilty of dowry death and abetting her suicide. Vismaya was 22 years old when she died by suicide on June 21, 2021.
