Hybrid vehicles miss out on incentives under Delhi EV Policy

The proposed 50% exemption on road tax and registration fees for strong hybrid vehicles priced up to ₹30 lakh has been dropped from Delhi's newly approved EV policy. The move reflects government's focus on directing incentives toward battery-electric vehicles to curb pollution. As a result, buyers of hybrid cars will continue to pay the applicable road tax and registration charges.
