Hyd forest cover increased by 147% over last 10 years: Govt data

Hyderabad's forest cover has recorded an increase of 147%, from 33.15 sq km to 81.81 sq km, since 2011, according to India State of Forest Report 2021 figures. Hyderabad recorded maximum rise in green cover but stands fourth in terms of overall forest cover, behind Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.
