Hyd gig workers get dedicated rest center with meals, washrooms

Hyderabad now hosts a dedicated rest and welfare facility designed to support gig workers. Inaugurated by Telangana Labour Minister Gaddam Vivekananda, the center offers AC seating, washrooms, meals and free medical consultations. A survey revealed 68% of delivery partners work over 10 hours daily without basic amenities. The center, also featuring women's lounge, charges nominal membership fees.
