Hyderabad cop booked for stealing gold, cash from case property

A Meerpet Police Station constable, PC N Sravan Kumar, has been booked for allegedly misappropriating seized property from a dowry death case. He reportedly transferred ₹1.70 lakh from a seized mobile phone, pledged 122.2g of gold ornaments for ₹12.37 lakh, and handed a seized phone back to an accused. A case has been registered under BNS and IT Act.
