Hyderabad egg racket busted; 8 arrested, 43 women rescued

Hyderabad police dismantled an illegal egg harvesting racket, arresting 8 people and rescuing 43 women. Accused recruited women from multiple states, promising Rs 20,000–30,000 per donation cycle, housed them in hostels, and referred them to IVF centres. Main organiser Amit Sharma from Indore was identified. Cases filed under BNS and ART Act, 2021.
