Hyderabad engineer caught taking ₹1.2 lakh bribe for meters

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Pandala Sandhaya Rakesh, Assistant Engineer at TGSPDCL's Madannapet Section, red-handed accepting a ₹1.2 lakh bribe to sanction six new electricity meters in Hyderabad. The tainted amount was recovered from his possession. He is being produced before the Principal Special Judge at Nampally for judicial remand.
