Hyderabad man allegedly slits partner’s tongue in fight, flees

A 50-year-old woman in Hyderabad's Kushaiguda was critically injured after her live-in partner allegedly slit her tongue with a knife during a heated argument. The accused, identified as Naveen, fled after the brutal assault. Neighbours rushed the victim, Sujatha, to Gandhi Hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery. Police have launched a manhunt for the absconding accused.
