Hyderabad may face water crisis by December: Report

Hyderabad could face a drinking water shortage as early as December due to a 17% rainfall deficit in Telangana, The Siyasat Daily reported. Singur reservoir, the main source for the western IT corridor, holds only 13% of its capacity and may be exhausted within 60 days. HMWSSB has begun preparing area-wise contingency plans for uninterrupted supply.
