Hyderabad Ola, Uber drivers strike as income falls to ₹15000

Ola and Uber drivers have gone on a five-day strike in Hyderabad following fewer bookings and monthly earnings falling from ₹70,000 to ₹15,000. Uber and Ola employ around one lakh drivers in Hyderabad and majority of them have joined the protests. Drivers claim the earnings reduced after the companies inducted more cars and started giving more rides to newly-registered drivers.
