Hyderabad police delete viral reply over fancy number plate

Hyderabad Traffic Police deleted its initial X reply to a complaint about a vehicle's stylised number plate after facing online criticism. The department had asked for front-facing photo, although violation was visible. It later acknowledged the non-standard lettering, confirmed the vehicle details, said action was being initiated under Motor Vehicles Act. Only standard HSRP plates are permitted.
