Schools across the city declared holiday on Tuesday after Heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms lashed the city last evening. Because of the pothole-ridden roads and congestion, traffic moved at a snail’s pace leading to commuters being stranded on roads for hours Monday night. As a precautionary measure, several schools across Hyderabad have extended the long weekend holiday till Wednesday.
