Hyderabad recognised as '2020 Tree City of the World' by UN body

Hyderabad has been recognised as the '2020 Tree City of the World' by the Arbor Day Foundation and UN's Food and Agriculture Organization. Hyderabad will join a network of like-minded cities that recognise the importance of trees in building healthy and happy cities, Telangana government said. Hyderabad along with 51 cities across the world earned the recognition in 2020.
