Hyderabad's Kohinoor: Princess Niloufer's work for women

Princess Niloufer, an Ottoman princess, married Moazzam Jah, son of Nizam of Hyderabad. She was style icon, counted among the world's most beautiful women. She modernised the Nizam's household, championed women's rights, and established Niloufer Hospital for women after witnessing her maid's death during childbirth. During World War II, she trained as a nurse and assisted the relief efforts.
