Hyderabad techie’s date ends with ₹29,884 pub bill dispute

A Hyderabad software engineer’s dating-app date allegedly ended in a pub dispute after he received a ₹29,884 bill. Cheruku Hemanth claimed he had consumed only one beer and alleged that drinks ordered by his date were billed as premium alcohol. He refused to pay, called police and later alleged possible collusion between the woman and pub management.
