Hyderabad University students detained for protesting encroachment

Police on Friday detained a group of students at the University of Hyderabad campus for protesting against the alleged encroachment on university land for constructing a road. The students alleged that the authorities demolished 100 feet of the compound wall near the Indian School of Business. Telangana ABVP co-convenor alleged that police obstructed a peaceful protest and manhandled the students.
