Hyderabad zoo installs rain guns to protect animals from heat

Authorities at Hyderabad's Nehru Zoological Park have installed cooling devices such as sprinklers and mini rain guns to reduce heat inside enclosures. Foggers have been set up in reptile houses, and bird cages have been layered with grass to avoid direct sunlight. Coolers have been placed to protect primates and carnivores, and ACs have been arranged inside nocturnal animals’ enclosures.
