I asked writer if we were too harsh on middle-class: Sarabhai actress Ratna

Ratna Pathak Shah, who essayed the role of Maya Sarabhai in 'Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai', has said she often asked the writer, Aatish Kapadia, if it's necessary to be so cruel towards the middle-class. "But when I see people around doing things, I feel...we should've been harsher," she added. Ratna further said she thinks of herself as a middle-class person.
